- Colour green links to Irish.
- 'Hilarious' pun for a title.
- Image makes you draw conclusions straight away (connotes negativity)
- Sarcastic tone.
- Language connotes everyday bloke-ishness.
- Culture code.
- Tiger to kitten image mocks the country. Connotes they are 'going down the drain'
